Important Notice: Session Duration Adjustments and Poster Dimensions for AsiaTEFL 2026

Dear Participants,

First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your enthusiastic support of AsiaTEFL 2026 and for the valuable contributions you will bring to the conference. This year, we have received an overwhelming number of workshop and presentation submissions from scholars and educators around the world, reflecting the strong engagement and academic vitality of our community. We truly appreciate your efforts, dedication, and willingness to share your research and professional experiences with fellow participants.

In order to support as many members of the academic community as possible and provide broader opportunities for participation, we have made every effort to accommodate a large number of accepted sessions within the conference program.

As a result, the allocated time for each session has been adjusted to help ensure the smooth operation and overall balance of the conference schedule. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the following guidelines:

• Symposia
  Each symposium is allotted 1.5 hours. The session chairs and moderators will coordinate the schedule and ensure that time is fairly allocated for all scheduled speakers and discussion.
   
• Individual Paper Presentations
  For individual paper presentations during the regular sessions, please note that each session lasts for a total of 1.5 hours. As we may have up to 10 presenters scheduled in a single session, we kindly request that you keep your presentation strictly under 10 minutes to ensure everyone has ample time.
   
• Workshops
  We respectfully suggest planning workshops to run for approximately 30 minutes. To create a focused and engaging session, we encourage presenters to prioritize the most essential and impactful aspects of their work. 
   
• Flexible Adjustments
  Actual presentation times may be adjusted on-site by the session chairs or moderators based on the final number of presenters present. For example, if one or more scheduled presenters are absent, the remaining speakers may be allocated additional time. In such cases, workshops could potentially be extended to 45 minutes or up to one hour, depending on the overall schedule. We warmly encourage presenters to prepare their materials with some flexibility so they can easily adapt to these positive adjustments during the conference. 
   
• Poster Presentations

1.Display & Attendance: Posters will remain on display in a designated area throughout the conference. Presenters are asked to stand by their work during their scheduled session to answer questions and engage with fellow delegates.

2.Poster Dimensions: We provide two types of display boards. Please ensure your poster fits one of the following specifications:

    Wall-mounted board: 60 cm (W) × 100 cm (H)

     Vertical stand board: A0 size / 84 cm (W) × 120 cm (H)
